Lean Government Conference 2012
September 19 in Stevens Point, WI
Over 120 individuals representing all levels of government, as well as school districts, technical colleges, non-profits, and businesses attended the informative one-day conference in Stevens Point.

In this workshop we identify the changing role of government in our communities, explore the foundations of an effective partnership, discuss the conditions that are most conducive to public-private partnerships, and explore a variety of alternative strategies to government service delivery. The Local Government Institute of Wisconsin, in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence, put on this one day conference for state and local government officials that focused on tools and principles to improve quality, cost effectiveness, service delivery and responsiveness to the public.
Doing More with Less: Collaborative Leadership for Servicy Delivery Workshop
The Local Government Institute of Wisconsin, in partnership with the UW - Extension's Local Government Center, hosted a leadership workshop designed for local government leaders on April 28, 2011 at eleven sites across the state.
